What do I need to bring to my VIN Verification appointment?

Please have the following available:

  1. The vehicle being inspected (must have power)
  2. A valid government-issued photo ID
  3. Vehicle title, registration, or bill of sale (if available)
  4. Form HSMV 82042 (Vehicle Identification Number and Odometer Verification Form), if already provided
If you do not have Form HSMV 82042, one may be provided during your appointment.
